Stellar XLM RWA Growth Draws More Institutional Activity
Stellar XLM RWA has been on fire in the last couple of months, growing from $1bn to $3bn in a very quick space of time. This highlights the increased adoption of blockchain for conventional assets.
A recent X post from a Stellar XLM Holder stated that the growth marked an increase in institutional adoption, stating that a variety of institutional asset managers as well as tokenisation firms are already utilising XLM.
Real-world assets are traditional financial products represented on blockchain networks. They include instruments such as:
- Money market funds
- Government bonds
- Private credit
- Credit products
- Treasury instruments
- Real estate assets
Tokenization allows these products to settle faster while reducing operating costs. It also provides broader access to financial markets and improves transaction transparency.
Institutions Supporting Stellar’s Tokenized Asset Expansion
Several financial firms have contributed to Stellar XLM RWA growth through active participation on the network.

| Franklin Templeton | Issues tokenized investment funds |
| WisdomTree | Develops blockchain-based investment products |
| Ondo Finance | Provides tokenized U.S. Treasury exposure |
| Spiko | Offers tokenized money market funds |
| Centrifuge | Connects private credit markets with blockchain |
To round things out, traditional asset manager Franklin Templeton is one of the biggest investors in blockchain-based product providers. Wisdom Tree too has put more emphasis on tokenized products.
On DO Finance continues providing access to traditional products via its Treasury products via tokens, while Spiko and Centrifuge look to build solutions for tokenized money and credit markets.

Stellar XLM RWA Growth Coincides With New Ecosystem Developments
Stellar XLM’s rapid RWA growth was seen while the network recently saw the rollout of some of its network upgrades, along with the announcement of its many partnerships.
In parallel, Stellar saw tokenized asset total hit a $3B mark on its ledger while financial infrastructure provider DTCC announced it will support tokenized assets held inside of its custody. Services are scheduled for deployment sometime in the first half of 2027.
Separately, Stellar successfully rolled outProtocol 26(Yardstickupgrade), which provided additional security for the network.
Shortly thereafter, Circle successfully deployed its Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol onto the Stellar mainnet that allows holders of select stablecoins to transfer their holdings across a multi-chain ecosystem.
In the wake of those two developments, Moneygram announced it would support its proprietary stablecoin MGUSD over Stellar in its money remittance offerings, utilizing its pre-existing relationship with Stellar to do so.
XLM Price Faces Resistance Despite Strong Fundamentals
Even as Stellar XLM RWA development progresses, Stellar XLM has faced sell-offs in recent trades.
The token hit the $0.26 mark earlier this month and fell back near $0.19-$0.21 support levels as traders take profit from previous advance. The market is watching for resistance levels to hold near the $0.2215.

Support at the $0.20 zone will likely offer immediate price stabilisation and support renewed buying pressure.
Market sentiment is also influenced by the downward pressure on the derivative market. Stellar XLM futures open interest decreased to approximately $2.7 billion, indicating that few traders are establishing short positions for the immediate period.
Although XLM Stellar’s RWA growth cannot guarantee a rapid acceleration, increased transaction volume and expanded institutional adoption are providing continued strong network usage.
As more conventional financial services migrate onto the chain, blockchain enterprises such as Stellar are battling to gain a piece of the token market.
